本院為經評鑑合格的區域教學醫院，除提供醫療服務外，更積極推動醫師、護理人員、醫技人員及管理行政各領域的教學。
Being accredited as a regional teaching hospital, the Hospital involved fervently in training and continuing education in various specialties, including medical-nursing, technology, laboratory, and management.
目前院內可提供內、外、兒及畢業後一般醫學訓練，並接受其他醫療院所代訓申請。
The hospital is a training institution in the field of internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics and PGY1 one (post graduate year 1), as endorsed by the responsible specialty boards.
針對已訓練有成之主治醫師仍積極推動在職教育，期能與新進的醫療知識、技術可以接軌。特別在每個月邀請學有專精的專家蒞臨指導，在科內亦定期舉行討論會，對於現代醫學先進的研究成果，能充分的掌握及應用，以嘉惠病患。
In service training program is arranged on a monthly schedule for serving clinicians in the Hospital. Renowned scholars in different subjects are invited to speak on the state of art practice. Regular seminars and conferences are also held on a departmental basis.
醫院也訂有研究論文獎勵辦法及鼓勵醫師繼續進修措施，另與長庚醫院、萬芳醫院及輔仁大學等醫學中心與醫學院建教合作，以提高醫療學術水準，並接受院際間病患互相會診或轉院診療，主治醫師也可與醫學系學生有教學相長的機會。
Regulation has been set to facilitate our staff’s research activities and advocate further studying in other educational institutions. Service and information alliance has been established between the Hospital and three medical centers (CGMH, Taipei Wan Fang Hospital and Catholic Fu Jen University). Some of our clinicians also take part in teaching activities at Chang Gung University and Catholic Fu Jen University.
