經過不同階段的發展，聖保祿醫院已經由四十年前的一個小型鄉村醫院演化成為桃園縣重要的區域教學醫院，提供包括內外婦兒各專科與次專科服務。全院員工人數達780人，總病床數580床。
After going through different stages of development, SPH has evolved in forty years time from a countryside polyclinic into a regional hospital responsible for delivering clinical services in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and other subspecialties. There is a total number of 780 staff attending 580 beds.
內科部門包括心臟內科、胸腔內科、胃腸內科、新陳代謝科、神經內科、腎臟內科及感染科。其中由胸腔內科服務的呼吸照護病房，神經內科對失智症病患的照顧，新陳代謝科對糖尿病患的個案管理，心臟科對「高血壓、高血脂、高血糖」病患的長期篩檢與追蹤，均受社會各界好評。
The department of internal medicine offers care to patients in the field of cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, nephrology and infections disease. A respiratory care ward is operated by chest specialists in cooperation with nurses and therapist. Success in the caring of the dementia, case management for diabetes and follow up prevention of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia has earned acclaim of the community.
外科部提供的服務涵蓋一般外科、胃腸外科、甲狀腺及乳房外科，骨科及創傷重建外科，泌尿外科等範圍。微創手術為近年積極推展的項目，並已小有成果。其目的在提供病患更優質的治療及更迅速的復原。泌尿外科所提供的一站式服務，使病患稱便，已使其成為地方上最重要的尿路結石治療中心之一。
Service at the department of surgery encompasses subspecialties from GI surgery, thyroid and breast surgery, orthopedics, traumatology, to urology. Minimal invasive surgery is an art of practice being advocated recently. It helps in improving the quality of care as well as hastening recovery. The one-station form of service practised at the Lithotripsy Center has won intense loyalty from the client. Thus it has become one of the most important clinic for urinary stone therapy in the territory.
婦產科是本院創院以來最具特色的科別，40年來有將近十萬位嬰兒在本院來到人間，民國91年健保局評定本院為北部地區標竿產科醫院。
Obs/Gyn is the most distinguished department of service since inauguration. We have greeted the birth of as many as one tenth of a million babies. In 2002, the department was accredited by the National Health Insurance Bureau as a benchmark among hospitals in northern Taiwan.
小兒科對健康兒童的保健服務和對由初生到成長期的病童照顧，深獲家長肯定。
The total care for children extending from neonates to adolescence provided by our pediatricians has received applause from parents of the community.
精神科的日間留院病房，是縣內各綜合醫院中的唯一且受各方推崇，其治療對象為一些較嚴重，暫時無法回歸社會的精神疾病患者。護理、心理與復建人員藉由音樂、美術、畫畫、運動、書法等課程，配合藥物治療提供照護，並開辦職能復健商店，販賣病友自己烹調的食物、製作的禮品，幫助他們早日重回社會。
The day care ward for psychiatry patients is unique and distinctive among general hospitals around the County and has earned appreciation from the community. Patients in convalescence are taken care of. They were treated by a team of staff comprising physicians, nurses, psychologist and occupational therapist. Lessons in music, arts, painting, physical drill and calligraphy are employed in combination with medicine. They also operate a rehabilitation store for vending home made refreshments and gifts.
急診醫學科由急診專科主治醫師，親自在第一線診療，扮演桃園地區緊急醫療網重要的角色，從檢傷分類、醫師看診、檢查、治療處置，提供緊急病患迅速、安全的照護。另與臨床各科緊密的合作及結合桃園縣市其他緊急醫療責任醫院，全年無休的共同照護大桃園地區的急重症病患。
The A & E department operates around the clock with well-trained physicians taking care of casualties on the front line, thus constituting an indispensable part of the emergency service network.
其它部門如放射線科、麻醉科、耳鼻喉科、眼科、皮膚科、復健科、病理科及牙科等均由學有專精的專科醫師，配合精良的現代化儀器設備，為有需要的病患提供優質的服務。
Specialist from other departments as radiology, anesthesiology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatology, rehabilitation medicine, pathology and dental surgery are ready to deliver quality service, making use of modern equipments, to patients in need.
本院附設『產後護理之家』，提供專業的產婦及嬰兒醫療護理照顧、產後運動指導及餐飲服務，舒適溫馨的硬體環境，提供產後婦女另一種整體的醫療照護。為縣內第一家受政府認證的產後護理中心，房間經常供不應求。
The maternal care unit, which is the first government-endorsed and most sought after unit of the kind in the territory, offers a comprehensive service for mothers after labor.
我們對社區民眾健康的照顧，並不限於在院內，社區醫學部負責推動包括都市原住民健康營照計劃在內的各種社區巡迴篩檢服務，直接把保健資訊與服務傳遞到縣內各社區中。自民國93年起，並配合全民健康保險局組織了三個社區醫療群，與第一線的基層醫師合作，實施雙向轉診，開放院內門診予會員醫師，以達到分級照顧社區民眾健康的目的。
Our service do not stop at the hospital door. The department of community medicine has been involved fervently in a number of health promotion programs around the County. Service and information is being delivered continually into all corners of the community. As sponsored by the NHI Bureau, three Health Maintenance Medical Groups have been organized among general practitioners for the purpose of facilitating transferal of patients, hence categorized patient care. Member physician could also join in our outpatient clinics in order to take care of their private patients.
我們深深知道為最需要的民眾提供最需要的服務，是傳揚福音的最好方式，自民國81年起，我們即在復興鄉提供醫療服務。民國91年與長庚紀念醫院合作開辦華陵醫療站，提供定點醫療服務。本院並於每週巡迴各村落，提供服務到戶的診療。為了集中相關資源，提昇山地醫療的服務水平，並於民國93年成立了山地醫療科。
The best way to further the Kingdom of God on earth is to offer service to the most need. We began to provide service in the Aborigines villages in the far reaching mountains as early as 1992. In 2002, we started to operate in collaboration with CGMH a clinic there. Physicians are sent from SPH every week to tour around the mountainous area for delivering medical care at the door side of the inhabitants.
